कुछ दिनों पहले मेक इन इंडिया की पहली कड़ी के रूप में मध्यप्रदेश के भोपाल और बीना रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच पूर्ण तरीके से भारत में बनी ट्रैन चलाई गई। इस प्रयोग में 24 बोगी वाली ट्रैन 120 कि. मी./ घंटे की रफ़्तार से चलाई गई और प्रयोग अत्यंत सफल हुआ। शीघ्र ही भारतीय रेलवे हर रूट पर ऐसे रेलगाडियां चला सकता है। हर कोच में बायो टॉयलेट, साइड बर्थ में स्नैक्स टेबल, पाली विनोइल मटेरियल से बनी आगरहित सीटें होंगी। बीच की सीट (मिडिल बर्थ) में चढ़ने के लिए सीढ़ी (रेलिंग), साइड में सहारे के लिए सपोर्ट सिस्टम, कोच का फर्श कारपेट की तरह चमकता हुआ, हर सीट में पढ़ाई के लिए एलईडी लाइट, हर कम्पार्टमेंट में लैपटॉप और मोबाइल चार्ज करने की सुविधा, कोच में दोनों ओर अग्निशामक यन्त्र भी इस ट्रैन में होगा।

अपनी बोगी (कोच) में किसी भी प्रकार की गन्दगी होने पर अब आप विभाग को एसएमएस (SMS) करके सम्बंधित स्थान की सफाई करा सकते हैं। एसएमएस के लिए आपको Clean <PNR No.> लिखकर 58888 पर भेजना होगा अथवा इसके लिए बनाई गई वेबसाइट जाकर अपना PNR नंबर एवं मोबाइल नंबर देकर इस सुविधा का लाभ ले सकते हैं। यह जानकारी ट्रैन की हर बोगी में लगाईं जा चुकी है। रेलमंत्री सुरेश प्रभू एक बहुत ही दूरदर्शी और योग्य व्यक्ति हैं, देश के हर नागरिक को अच्छी रेल व्यवस्था देने का जिम्मा प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी ने उन्हें सौंपा है और वे जी - जान से इसे पूर्ण करने में लगे हुए हैं। मुझे विश्वास है कि भाजपा नेतृत्व वाली एनडीए सरकार देश के हर नागरिक तक वह रेल सुविधाएं पहुंचाने में सक्षम होगी जो कांग्रेस 60 सालों में नहीं कर सका।
